Privacy Policy

Pourcentage (“Pourcentage,” “we,” or “us”) provides tools for restaurant workers to track earnings, shifts, manual savings goals, and tip-pool calculations. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, authentication information, and optional profile photo. When you use the service, we store the restaurants and pay schedules you configure; shift dates, times, hours, sales, wages, tips, tip-outs, and notes; manual savings goals and contribution records; and saved Bar Tip Calculator splits. We also receive limited technical information needed to secure and operate the service, such as request, device, browser, and error information.

We also store custom shift type names and the category, summary, details, status, and submission time of requests you send through Help & feedback. Signed-in device information includes browser and device descriptions, sign-in time, and session refresh time. Support requests are private to your account and authorized service administrators; they are used to respond to problems and assess improvements.

How we use information

We use your information to authenticate you, provide calculations and history, display your account, send account and security email, protect the service, troubleshoot errors, and comply with law. Pourcentage does not sell your personal information or use your private earnings records for third-party advertising.

Service providers

We use Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and account-deletion infrastructure; Vercel for application hosting and delivery; and Resend for transactional authentication email. These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users, Pourcentage, or the public.

Retention and deletion

We retain account information while your account is active and as needed for security or legal obligations. The in-app Delete Account action requires your current password and a typed confirmation. It immediately and permanently removes your sign-in and associated profile, restaurant, rule, shift, goal, contribution, and saved-split records. Avatar cleanup is attempted as part of deletion. The account cannot be recovered after deletion.

Your choices

You can edit many account records in the service and download a JSON data export containing your account records. The export is for your records; Pourcentage does not currently provide an import or restore feature. You may request privacy assistance at support@pourcentageapp.com. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive information about your personal data.

Security and children

We use access controls, encrypted connections, and per-account database policies designed to keep records private. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Pourcentage is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Pourcentage is based in California. Questions may be sent to support@pourcentageapp.com.
