Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Pourcentage. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and able to enter a binding agreement. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us at support@pourcentageapp.com if you believe your account is compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account.

What Pourcentage provides

Pourcentage helps you record information and calculate earnings, pay-period views, tips, tip-outs, hourly figures, goals, and pooled-tip splits. Figures labeled “estimated earnings before tax” combine saved hourly-wage and net-tip information before tax or withholding. Pourcentage is not a payroll processor, employer record, bank, accountant, tax adviser, or legal adviser. Verify records and calculations against employer documents before relying on them.

Your information and acceptable use

You retain ownership of information you submit. You give Pourcentage permission to host, process, and display it only as needed to operate and improve the service. Do not misuse the service, access another person’s account, interfere with security, upload unlawful or malicious material, reverse engineer restricted portions, or use Pourcentage in violation of law.

Availability and changes

The service is currently an early-stage product. We may fix, change, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable limits to protect reliability. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Keep independent records of information you need; the JSON data export can help you retain a copy.

Account suspension and deletion

You may delete your account in the application. Confirmed deletion is immediate, permanent, and not recoverable. We may restrict or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the service. Provisions that logically survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—remain effective.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. Pourcentage is not responsible for employment, payroll, tax, savings, or payment decisions made from estimates or user-entered data. To the extent permitted by law, Pourcentage will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from the service.

Governing law and changes

California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where local consumer law requires otherwise. Courts with jurisdiction in California will hear disputes not otherwise resolved informally. We may update these Terms as Pourcentage changes; continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms when permitted by law.
